Rev. Dr. Carol Winkfield, PhD is an Ordained Interfaith Minister, Doctor of Natural health, and Board Certified Holistic Health Professional and Consultant. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology from Cleveland State University, in Cleveland Ohio; holds a Masters Degree and a PhD in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health. in Birmingham AL Carol's research and work is in the areas of spirituality and natural health. She is a spiritual teacher, mentor and coach. She is a Practical Nurse licensed by the state of Ohio; holds Certification in Usui Tibetan System of Reiki; a Diploma in Advanced Spiritual Studies from Unity School of Religious Studies in Unity Village, MO; and is a graduate and ordained Minister from All Faiths Seminary in New York, NY. Carol is Pastor of the New Thought Congregation, New Light Temple Ministry in Dayton, Ohio. Carol's health and healing programs incorporate the latest scientific research findings for gaining greater wellness by integrating the activities of spirit mind body.
Carol is a musician, and songwriter, and along with her daughter Simone, is co-founder of the inspirational music ministry, Vision Of Unity. They record and perform for audiences everywhere. They have recorded four CDs. Carol writes inspirational poems and meditations. These, along with her self-help messages are also published on CD and cassette tape. Her book A Prayer and A Song contains many of her meditations. She authored a book, titled, Healing With Spirit: The Natural Way. Her Natural Health Practice is called, The Natural Way. Through it she offers a holistic approach to healing and abundant living. Carol is the mother of two daughters and one son, and has nine grandchildren. She reside in Dayton, Ohio.
